Domain names buy for £2.99 sell for 000's

You may or may not know this but there's a buoyant market for trading web domain names. These are names that have already been bought from Domain Name Registrars and then held onto until such time the owner perceives a demand and decides to sell. They they go through an auction type process; often with some interesting results. A name bought for £2.99 can be sold for thousands of pounds. Here's the latest figures for Quarter 2 2010 from Sedo domain name marketplace.

You'll see that many are generic names, almost category types. As you can see no category or apparatus escapes!
